Your local pharmacy may also be able to help via NHS Pharmacy First, which can provide advice and (where appropriate) treatment for 7 common conditions without needing a GP appointment: sinusitis, sore throat, earache (children/young people), infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, and uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI) in women (16–64). nhs.uk
